Anti-wrinkle Treatment
What is anti-wrinkle treatment?
Anti-wrinkle treatment is a technique used to relax the facial muscles and smooth out the appearance of lines and wrinkles. It can reduce the appearance of wrinkles that have naturally developed over time and can prevent further wrinkles from developing.
How does it work?
Anti-wrinkle treatments contain Botulinum Toxin (Type A) which temporarily disrupts nerve activity to the facial muscles, causing them to relax.
The toxin is delivered to the muscles via small injections into the desired area. The areas we can treat include the glabellar complex (frown lines), frontals (forehead) and the orbicularis oculi (crows feet).
How long does it last?
The effect of the toxin will take 4-10 days to become visible and the full effect will be seen after 2 weeks. It will take 3-6 months for the relaxation of the muscles to wear off. We therefore recommend a top up every 3-6 months.
